Partner Series #6 – Dundalk FC and Irishify

We have saved the best for last as we draw a close to our partner series. Since day one of our Irishify journey in August 2020, we have always had a strong relationship with our local team Dundalk FC. From the player video shoutouts to the Dundalk Goes Global hamper, the support from the club and it’s players has been second to none. We look back at our support local Dundalk campaign, the promotional video, and some of the best player shoutouts so far.

Dundalk Goes Global to Support Local

Towards the end of 2020 there were numerous campaigns to urge people to support locally in the lead up to Christmas. If you’re from the town, then you will already know that Dundalk is filled with incredible businesses, as well as one of the best football teams in Ireland, and we just had to get involved! After a few brainstorming sessions we decided to take it one step further and offer Dundalk’s finest products on a global scale. We selected some cult Dundalk items, boxed them up and sent hampers to 50+ countries worldwide.

The Dundalk Goes Global hamper includes Singli Curry, Roma Vinegar, Coffee beans from Rocksalt Café, our signature Irishify mug and some of the new Dundalk FC merchandise. Dundalk FC fans worldwide are sporting their scarfs and snoods on the streets of New York, the beaches of Gibraltar and the outback of Australia.

Shoutouts for the Town

Some of the very first talent to join Irishify shoutouts were Dundalk FC players Chris Shields and Patrick Hoban. From the get-go the lads were getting shoutout requests from Dundalk FC fans across the globe. Whether you’ve got a birthday, anniversary, wedding, stag or you want to wish someone well, leave it in the hands of Dundalk FC’s Chris Shields and Patrick Hoban to make it one to remember.

The biggest demand for these video shoutouts are from the locality of Dundalk and stretch across the pond to America, Canada, Cayman Islands and Gibraltar, where a lot of Dundalk ex-pats and supporters now reside.
